Welcome to Holy Trinity Bukit Bintang (HTBB), we are a vibrant Anglican church in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Please do get in contact if you have any questions through the get connected section. Below is some information on our core activities as a church community.
'None of the work of HTBB would be possible without the prayers, time, money, energy and enthusiasm of you – the members of this church. Thank you so much for all that you do and give.' - Miles & Sarah Toulmin
There are three ways we would love everyone who calls HTBB home to get involved:
Check out the details below on how to serve by joining a team and fill in the connect form to get in touch.
Worship is at the forefront of everything we do at HTBB. Our Worship & Production team create a space in which we can encounter God each week at church. If you’re a skilled musician or singer with a heart for God or perhaps you have a creative eye, an interest in technical production or in sound, then serving on the Worship & Production team could be for you. Drop us a line using the connect form. If suited to the team, musicians will be asked to come in for an informal audition. Led by Stew and Abi Mcllrath.
HTBB is also a Hub for Worship Central, a school of worship with a vision to train worship leaders, musicians and worshippers around the world. Find out more at worshipcentral.org
Prayer and Worship are right at the heart of what we do here at HTBB. We’d love to encourage you to join in with the prayer life here by getting involved with at least one of the following:
The 24-7 Prayer Room: HTBB is undergoing expansion of our space, and this will affect the prayer room which will not be available for use from 7 March 2017 onwards. We apologise for the inconvenience caused from the unavailability of the prayer room for a period of time until the completion of our expansion works, but don't stop praying! We will keep you updated of any progress on the Prayer Room. If you have any inquiries or requests, contact us on our HTBB Connect page and we will get back to you.
Prayer Walking: Held on the second Saturday every month. Prayer walking is the practice of praying on-the-go; walking around a particular place while praying. The idea is to use the five physical senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch) as well as spiritual senses to increase understanding of prayer needs within that area. An interesting, insightful activity for your Saturday morning! We gather first in the Prayer Room at 10:30 am and adjourn from there to the local vicinity.
Prayer Meet Ups: An hour of prayer and worship, where all are welcome to join at 8pm on the fourth Thursday every month in the Prayer Room.
Kingdom Come Week: A week of 24/7 prayer, leading up to a night of unhindered worship and prayer held once a term during the 5pm service on Sunday. Watch out on HTBB news for our next Kingdom Come!
Prayer Force: Monthly letter sent out via email with prayer requests for HTBB, Alpha, current affairs and occasional crisis calls to to prayer. Click here and fill up a short sign-up form to join in and pray with us.
None of what happens here at HTBB would be possible without the time and skill of the volunteer teams who make it possible. Joining a team is a great way not only to serve but also meet and make new friends within the community. Check out the Join a Team page for a list of all the ways you can get involved at HTBB.
Thank you so much for supporting the work of HTBB, we are hugely grateful. Nothing we do would be possible without the prayers, time, money, energy and enthusiasm of you, our congregation.
There are currently four ways to give to HTBB:
