What is the purpose of the Bible in light of the reality of Easter? How do the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ guide our encounters with him in the Gospel of Mark? In this sermon on Mark 1:40-45, we ask God to minister to us through his holy word, by his Holy Spirit. We reflect on the empowered and proximate love of Christ and his command to yield to him as Lord. As an “Easter community,” we want to walk in the life-giving way of the Son of God.
