At HTBB, our heart for discipleship is about taking your next step with Jesus. We believe following Jesus is not a program, but a lifelong journey of following Jesus. It begins with receiving Him as Lord and continues as we grow in faith, character, and love for others.
As Colossians 2:6 reminds us, “Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him.
Being Disciples
Discipleship looks different in different seasons. For some, it begins with belonging in community. For others, it means growing deeper through Scripture, prayer, and intentional relationships. And for many, it includes serving, leading, and investing in others. Wherever you are in your journey, there is always a next step. We see this journey expressed through three stages of being a disciple.
01 - Connect
Find and grow in your identity in Christ, belonging in His community, and discovering your purpose in life.
02 - Grow
Be formed through God’s Word and Spirit, intentional discipleship practices, relationships, and community. Grow into the character of Christ.
03 - Go & Multiply
Serve and lead others, invest in someone else, and live out your faith through mission.
Making Disciples
To help people live this out, we express our discipleship culture through four simple words:

Help others connect with God and find community through a culture of invitation, inclusion, and welcome.
02 - Raise
Walk alongside others in their discipleship journey — mentoring, teaching, and serving together as they grow in Christ.
03 - Release
Empower others to step out in faith — to lead, serve, and multiply what God has placed in them.
