Meet our Focus Guest Speaker
Stephen Foster

Stephen began his career as a barrister in London before training for Anglican ordination in Cambridge in 2010. He then served as the Preaching Pastor at Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB), led Alpha UK as its National Director, and now serves as the Rector of St Aldates Church in Oxford. Known for his creative, insightful, and engaging teaching — we’re so excited to welcome him as our guest speaker! He’s also a dear friend of ours, and you’ll get the chance to meet him in person this July first!

Our Pastors
Abel & Jacintha

Abel and Jacintha are the lead pastors of Holy Trinity Bukit Bintang (HTBB) Church. Jacintha heads up Projects and Planting initiatives while Abel is the Vicar of HTBB and directs the Leadership Development initiatives of the Alpha Asia Pacific Hub. Abel previously worked as COO of Alpha Asia Pacific, National Coordinator of Alpha Malaysia, and Head of Regions for Teach for Malaysia. Jacintha previously worked in education as Head of Operations for St Paul’s Theological College Malaysia and for the Teach for Malaysia programme. Abel and Jacintha have two sons, Levi and Lucas.

Spaces for Prayer

Encounter Room

We've got an Encounter Room that is available throughout the three days. It is a sacred, immersive space to slow down and encounter God—through stillness, prayer, worship, and reflection in the different creative stations.

Prayer Slots

On Day 2, from 4:30–6:00pm, we’re opening up a space for anyone to receive prayer or a word of encouragement in the Lord. No booking needed—just come as you are and walk in.

Space Adventure with Joyful Jerboa
and Paular Bear!

The children are blasting off on a space adventure with none other than Joyful the Jerboa and Paular Bear! Together, they’ll journey through the book of Philippians, learning how God is always with us — even when we feel alone.

Across four fun-filled sessions, kids will dive into times of worship, storytelling, crafts, and even a special movie night. Our hope is that every child experiences God’s love, grows in friendship, and has an incredible time along the way.

  • Focus will be held at Monkeys Canopy Resort at Sungai Long. Check out their website for more details: www.monkeyscanopy.com.

  • Accommodation varies based on your booking type—whether you're attending with Friends, Family, as a Married Couple, or solo. Room sizes depend on the group, and all accommodations include private bathrooms. Suites also offer the option of an additional sofa bed. If you are a family of six or more, please email us at focus@htbb.org to arrange accommodation

  • The easiest way to travel to Monkeys Canopy Resort is by car - the site is only a 40 minute drive (without traffic!) from Lot 10. This makes it easy to get to after morning services at HTBB on 14th September.
