HTBB Food Bank

HTBB’s food bank provides a basic, nutritious, food package to those in need. We are providing food packages for 158 families in 11 Neighbourhood Groups, 6 Charities and 1 refugee school, the Agape Mission School. For this MCO period we have been delivering food packs to all of these families twice a month.

Since FOODBANK started in July 2019…

we have given out 7,500 food packs as of August 2021 to families in need. Yet there are so many families are struggling.

What is The Lost Food Project?

The Food Bank Team

The HTBB food bank are partnering with the Lost Food Project to provide fresh fruit and vegetables as part of the weekly package. The Lost Food Project rescues quality, nutritious surplus food that would otherwise end up in landfill and redistributes this food to those who need it most. Surplus food is not waste. It is in date, edible food that is considered excess and is therefore still fit for human consumption. For more information, check out www.thelostfoodproject.org.

The Food Bank team packs and distributes foodpacks twice a month, 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. If you're interested in serving, we would love to hear from you!
