Loving People. Restoring Dignity. Transforming Communities.

At HTBB Social Action, we believe the gospel comes alive when love takes action — with compassion, justice, and humility.
Our mission is simple: lives restored, communities transformed, hope made practical. Every act of service is a chance to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our city.
We see service as discipleship. As we serve, we grow — in Christlikeness, character, and compassion. Volunteers aren’t just helping, they’re co-labourers in God’s work of renewal.
Together, we’re building a culture of love-in-action — raising leaders, mobilising teams, and standing alongside those we serve.

Our Vision
To contribute to the evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the church, and the transformation of society.
Our Mission
Living out the gospel by loving and serving the most vulnerable in our city.
KEY AREAS WE SERVE IN
-
On the 1st and 3rd Saturdays, 30 volunteers welcome over 100 children for a day of fun, learning, and community.
From sports and arts to baking, computers, and guitar, six workshops give kids and teens a safe space to grow in skills, confidence, and friendship.
-
Every Monday, HTBB Social Action Team runs a 6-month beginner’s computer literacy course for students from two local schools. Over weekly Monday 10AM-12PM classes, they gain essential digital skills to support their education and future growth.
-
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we run online tuition sessions to give students the extra support they need to grow and excel in their studies — all from the comfort of home.
-
Every 3rd Saturday, volunteers gather at HTBB to pack and deliver food supplies to 150 families — including refugees, local families at Loke Yew Flats, seniors in Sekinchan, and students in Pudu. These essential packs bring practical support and care to those facing hardship.
-
Every Wednesday, our team of 14–16 volunteers prepares and delivers 278 simple, nourishing meals to five schools. A humble sandwich of chicken or tuna becomes more than lunch — it’s a reminder to every child that they are seen, cared for, and valued.
-
We partner with local bakeries (Rainbow Bread, Lavender, Secret Recipe, Breadstory, Komugi) and businesses such as Ben’s Grocer, KFC Pavilion, and The Westin Hotel, as well as The Lost Food Project, to rescue surplus bread, dry goods, fresh produce, and frozen meat. Instead of going to landfill, this quality food is redistributed to families and individuals in need — reducing waste while restoring dignity.
-
We partner with three refugee schools to provide a simple breakfast — bread and milk — five times a week. For just RM400 a month, this ensures children begin their day nourished and ready to learn.
-
Since 2019, our annual Christmas outreach has gathered around 40 volunteers and welcomed over 500 guests each year. More than a festive event, it’s become a tradition of joy, generosity, and sharing hope with those in need.
-
This Mothers’ Day, in partnership with the Lametna Project — a community initiative by Gordian Consultancy and St Mary’s Agape Mission School — we hosted a crocheting class for Myanmarese mothers in Klang Valley. Their handmade crochet flowers were then sold at church on Mother’s Day, raising RM16k to support their skills, creativity, and families.
-
Every Sunday (9AM-11AM @ HTBB), we welcome children from Hiichiikok Home and Orang Asli communities into a safe and nurturing space — where they can learn, grow, and know they are loved.
