What we’ve been doing
Since 2019, the Social Action Team has:
Provided monthly food aid to 164 families through the HTBB Food Bank
Distributed 17,370 food packs, each costing an average of RM80 (with the total value of these food packs reaching nearly RM 1.4 million)
Served 278 children with nutritious school meals across 5 schools
Engaged 120 children in fun, nurturing, and life-skill activities through BBCC, online tuition, computer classes, and Sunday outreach
Over 80 volunteers serving on the Team
Recently:
Celebrated Mother’s and Father’s Day with hearty meals for 120 mothers, 38 fathers, and their families
Hosted a Christmas party for 520 children and families, supported by 31 volunteers

One from Maluri is now closer to affording surgery for gallstones, and another from Mentari Court is saving up for her health needs. They’re so grateful and eager to do more in the future.
